Thumbnail design is the bread and butter of today’s Graphic Design work. Everybody wants to be a YouTuber or a social media star. For that to happen, you’ve got to put effort into your branding. Thumbnails are the first thing anyone will see, and 9/10 times, will be the reason they indulge in what you’re offering as a content creator!
Thumbnails Are Important!
When designing thumbnails for yourself or a client, it’s important to keep in mind the content behind them. You don’t want to clickbait the audience, which is something I pride myself on when creating eye-catching visuals. After starting my TCG channel, I made a real effort to fit as much information into my thumbnails as possible, while keeping it accurate to the video and making sure it stands out among the others out there.
